Do you offer short-term leases?
Yes, short term lease options are available at an additional price.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, additional pet rent is required along with a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Animal must be under 25#. Exceptions can be made for unique circumstances.
Do garages come with openers?
Garage door openers are not included. However, some units have garage door openers installed from past tenants. Jefferson Villas management is not responsible for maintenance, upkeep or repair of these openers. Tenants may install garage door openers at their own expense.
Are window treatments included?
No, window treatments are not included. However, if they are in good shape from a previous tenant we will leave them for future tenants.
Some units have screen doors, will Jefferson Villas provide this if I request?
Screen doors are not provided by Jefferson Villas. Existing screen doors left by past tenants will remain if they are in good working order. Jefferson Villas is not responsible for the upkeep, maintenance or repair of existing screen doors. Tenants are permitted to install at their own expense but they must match the color of the siding as close as possible.
Can we plant our own flowers?
We strive to maintain uniform outward appearance. However, tenants may plant their own flowers provided it compliments the existing landscape. If you are planning something big, it is best to run it past management prior to planting. Management does reserve the right to remove unsightly landscaping. Jefferson Villas has a flower program where we provide any tenant who would like them, 2 flats free of charge around Memorial Day to plant around their yard.
